Is your device screen locking while updating Bridgit (eg. downloading tasks) or uploading pending items and causing the sync to stall? We have a solution!
In order to complete the sync process as quickly as possible, you’ll want to prevent your device from locking and "going to sleep". When your device locks, the sync process is stopped until the device is unlocked again.
You can easily change your device settings to prevent your screen from locking - just follow the steps below:
Step 1: Click the "Settings" icon on your home screen.
Step 2: In Settings, scroll down and click either the "Displays & Brightness" tab
Step 3: Click "Auto-Lock"
Step 4: Set your "Auto-Lock" option to "Never"
NOTE: To prevent your battery from draining quickly, we recommend that you plug in your device during the sync. Once your sync is complete, you can put your lock settings back to normal.
