WHAT IS PROJECT INSIGHTS?
Project Insights is an archive of data. This isn’t your regular list of tasks—Project Insights pulls together real numbers from your site so you can monitor progress and make better decisions.
Use Project Insights to:
- share your progress with stakeholders
- monitor overdue tasks
- identify problem areas and bottlenecks
- hold teams accountable with performance metrics
The report refreshes every half an hour so you have the most up to date information.
The report includes a breakdown of the project data in three ways:
- Status Summary Report
- Task Aging Summary
- Status Breakdown by Company
Click the graph icon on the left-hand side of the page to access your Project Insights.
Status Summary Report - Get a full breakdown of tasks by status. See how many tasks are open, completed, or closed (draft tasks are excluded).
Task Aging Summary - Are open tasks being completed? Open tasks are sorted by age to give insight into the progress
In the Open Task Aging Summary, you're able to view the graph by all companies or choose a specific company's tasks. For example, choosing the company "ABC Contracting" you'll see the graph is adjusted to only show the tasks assigned to "ABC Contracting"
Status Breakdown by Company - Get a comprehensive chart that summarizes each company and their task lists. You’ll see the number of open tasks assigned to each company, how many are completed and approved, and how many are overdue.
You're able to select the checkbox at the top right-hand corner of the screen to compare data to data from one week earlier
NOTE: You're able to click the "View another report" icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen to go back and view reports from different days.
A download button is available at the top right of the Insights page. This can be used to download a report for the data that is currently being viewed. The downloaded report can then be printed/emailed.
Not seeing the Project Insights icon on your project? It may not be activated for your account yet. Reach out to your Customer Success Manager or contact email@example.com and we can help you with that!
